Writing is a major passion of mine. I've been writing practically my entire life, whether it's poetry, fanfiction, original fiction, or non-fiction.
While you're here and perusing the entries in this blog, you'll meet a host of characters that make up my life. Just to make things easier, I've included a list of the people and animals you'll hear about the most.
PacNW Family
- BD :: This is my partner, both as a writer and in life. She and I have been together for 11 years now in a queerplantonic relationship. We are totally that old married couple that you always hear about.
- Our fur-kids :: We own four cats: Leo [10yo grey DMH, affectionately known as the Old Man or Squirrel-boy], Anastasia [9yo tuxedo DLH, affectionately known as Fat Ass or Sybil], Gabe [6yo tabby barn cat, affectionately known as Fat Boy or Puppybutt], and Elphaba [4yo black DSH barn cat, affectionately known as Elphie or Falfus]. From time to time, I will also mention Toby, my special kitty [white DSH with mismatched eyes and a grey patch between his ears, died in 2004 at 2.5yo].
- Otter :: Our housemate and dear friend, who owns Zena [a grey/white DSH who doesn't get along with the other cats].
- Oak :: My nephew of the heart/godson
- Mama Bear :: Oak's mother & one of my BFFs/soul sisters
- Seal :: Oak's best friend
- Cheetah :: My other BFF/soul sister
- Owl :: My adopted online daughter
Blood Family
- Elephant :: My brother, because he loved Sharon, Lois, & Bram's Elephant Show when he was little
- Summer :: Elephant's wife/my sister-in-law
- Piglet :: Elephant & Summer's son
